What is WayToAlpha?+

Is it free?+
Browsing 3,900+ universities, filtering, and the ROI calculator are free with no signup wall. Creating an account unlocks your personalized Alpha Score, university matches, SOP tools, and application tracking — also free to students.
What is the Alpha Score?+
An explainable 0–100 estimate of how competitive your profile is, built from your academics, institution, English test, budget fit, and other signals. It's decision-support — it shows where you have a realistic shot — not a guarantee of admission.
How accurate is the ROI calculator?+
It models 10-year net financial position using published salary and cost-of-attendance data and reasonable assumptions. Treat the numbers as estimates to compare options — your actual costs and earnings will differ. It's not financial advice.
Do you guarantee admission or a visa?+
No. Admissions, scholarships, and visas are decided by universities and governments, not by us. Our scores and matches help you target schools where you're competitive and avoid wasted applications.
How does agent matching work?+
When you opt in, we connect you with a verified agent or partner agency in our network who can support your applications. An introduction is not an endorsement — and there's never pay-to-play placement steering your shortlist.
Can I apply to universities myself?+
Yes. Matches are suggestions, not limits — you're free to browse the full catalog and start an application at any university from its page. Your assigned agent then helps vet and advance it.
Which countries do you cover?+
27 countries including the US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and more. India is intentionally excluded from the catalog as it isn't a study destination we target.
Is the AI-written SOP okay to submit?+
Alpha AI gives you a strong first draft — but you should review, edit, and make it truthfully yours before submitting anywhere that requires original work. You own what you create.
Is my data safe?+
