Account data: your name and email when you sign up.

Profile data you provide: during onboarding you may share nationality, city, phone, education history and grades, English-test scores, intended major, target countries, and budget. You choose what to enter.

Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting information about how you use the product (e.g. pages visited) to keep it reliable and improve it.

To calculate your Alpha Score, match you with suitable universities, and model education ROI.

To connect you with a verified agent or partner in our network when you ask us to.

To generate Statement of Purpose drafts with Alpha AI, which you can edit and own.

To send you transactional updates (e.g. application-stage changes, SOP reviews). You can opt out of non-essential email.

Your chosen agent / partner agency in our network, so they can support your applications. They see your profile, not your password or technical data.

Service providerswho run the product on our behalf — database & hosting, email delivery, and AI processing — under contracts that limit them to providing those services.

We never sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Edit most of it directly in your profile, or email us at hello@waytoalpha.comand we'll action the rest.

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it. Access is protected by row-level security so users and agencies only see what they're permitted to.

Our infrastructure is hosted in the Asia-Pacific region. If you access WayToAlpha from elsewhere, your data may be processed across borders to provide the service.

WayToAlpha is intended for users old enough to pursue higher education and is not directed at children under 16.
